Vivo HealthStaff is recruiting for a Mental Health Therapist in Southgate Michigan.

Job Description:
  • Conduct regular individual and group supervision sessions to support the professional development of therapists
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of therapy services provided by the team
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical standards in mental health therapy
  • Collaborate with other team members to provide comprehensive care to clients

    Essential Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Counseling Social Work Psychology or related field
  • Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LPC LMSW LLP)
  • Previous experience providing therapy services to individuals with mental health concerns
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

    Responsibilities:
  • Manage and process crisis situations with program staff and clients
  • Maintain electronic medical record training and assist staff
  • Review treatment records and provide direction for documentation improvement
  • Manage staff and department within span of control
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and committee meetings
  • Maintain compliance with program requirements and staff credentials
  • Attend meetings conferences and trainings in the community
  • Assist clinical staff in utilizing data from electronic medical records
  • Assess community needs and assign priorities for service delivery
  • Collaborate with interdepartmental groups to ensure program administration
  • Complete required documentation referrals and paperwork
  • Abide by and support Person Centered Planning guidelines
  • Follow professional code of ethics
  • Perform other duties as assigned
