JOB DESCRIPTION
Seeking a highly motivated candidate who demonstrates strong commitment to operational excellence possesses technical proficiency in networking. Lead efforts in providing security high availability and upholding standards:
- Mapping of in use ports and services
- Cisco network device configuration and management
- Network discovery
- Routing and switching protocols
- Network security and access control
- Connectivity troubleshooting packet analysis
- Network performance monitoring and optimization
- IOS Patching and upgrade management
The ideal candidate is well organized detailoriented flexible to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines with safety mind set. This individual must also exercise good judgment and render sound business decisions. The applicant should possess strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to produce design and procedural documentation.
- Bachelors degree (preferably in Information Technology) with a minimum of 8 years experience in IT Support.
- Must have the ability to lift/transport server equipment when needed
- Must be able to provide offhour oncall support for network and security related issues that may requires travel to various supported location. Must be willing and able to work overtime and be flexible with work hours to respond to emergencies or scheduled work that must be done either prior to or after normal business hours. Must have the means and be able to travel to various Company locations. Must have a valid drivers license.
- There are inperson requirements for this job and post COVID working arrangements will require reporting to office locations at minimum of four days a week.
- Selected candidate will require passing of NERC CIP Personnel Risk Assessment background check
