Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Cassandra database clusters
• Implement data modeling techniques for efficient storage and retrieval
• Optimize the database performance through query tuning and indexing strategies
• Monitor and ensure data security availability and reliability
• Perform troubleshooting and issue resolution for databaserelated incidents
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate Cassandra into applications
• Conduct capacity planning and participate in disaster recovery planning
• Automate routine tasks using scripting languages
• Implement best practices in database design and management
• Participate in regular database maintenance activities
• Document database architecture processes and procedures
• Stay updated with Cassandra developments and propose improvements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Proven experience in administering and managing Cassandra databases
• Indepth knowledge of Cassandra architecture and internal workings
• Proficiency in data modeling and schema design for Cassandra
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of Cassandra clusters
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and NoSQL databases
• Ability to write and maintain scripts for automation and monitoring
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving databaserelated issues
• Knowledge of security best practices for database management
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Certifications in Cassandra or related technologies is a plus
• Understanding of cloudbased database solutions is advantageous
• Familiarity with DevOps practices is a bonus
• Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and techniques
