Tasks

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development operations and automation with a focus on implementing and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines monitoring systems and infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions. This individual will work closely with crossfunctional teams to accelerate the delivery of highquality software and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Design implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automating software build test and deployment processes.
• Configure and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform AWS CloudFormation or Ansible.
• Automate repetitive tasks and workflows using scripting languages (e.g. Bash Python PowerShell).
• Monitor analyze and optimize system performance reliability and scalability using monitoring tools such as Prometheus Grafana ELK Stack or Datadog.
• Collaborate with development QA and operations teams to troubleshoot issues implement best practices and ensure smooth deployment and operation of services.
• Implement security best practices and compliance requirements across infrastructure and applications.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies tools and trends in DevOps and cloud computing and evaluate their potential impact on our environment.
• Participate in oncall rotations and provide timely response and resolution to production incidents.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of experience in DevOps SRE or related roles.
• Strong proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Bash Python or PowerShell.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible Puppet or Chef.
• Handson experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP) and container orchestration systems (e.g. Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI/CD or CircleCI.
• Solid understanding of networking security and Linux/Unix systems administration.
• Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills with a proactive and collaborative approach.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certifications in DevOps or cloud computing (e.g. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Certified Kubernetes Administrator).
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus Grafana ELK Stack or Datadog.
• Knowledge of serverless computing and microservices architectures.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and agile project management tools (e.g. JIRA Agile).
