Position Overview: They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Global HR Director to lead their human resources initiatives and strategies on a global scale. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing a global workforce particularly in the mining or engineering industry. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive HR excellence and support their mission of transforming the mining sector through technology.

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement global HR strategies aligned with the companys objectives and values.
  2. Talent Acquisition and Management: Lead global talent acquisition efforts ensuring the recruitment of top talent to support business objectives.
  3. Employee Development and Engagement: Foster a culture of continuous learning growth and employee engagement through effective development programs and initiatives.
  4. Performance Management: Implement performance management processes to drive accountability recognition and high performance across the organization.
  5. Global HR Operations: Oversee all aspects of HR operations including compensation and benefits payroll employee relations and compliance.
  6. Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI): Champion DEI initiatives and programs to foster an inclusive and equitable workplace culture.
  7. Change Management: Lead change management initiatives and support organizational transformation efforts.
  8. HR Analytics and Reporting: Utilize HR analytics and metrics to inform decisionmaking and drive continuous improvement in HR processes and programs.
  9. Global Compliance: Ensure compliance with local labor laws regulations and HR best practices in all regions of operation.
  10. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior leadership and crossfunctional teams to address HR needs and support business growth objectives.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
  2. Minimum of 12 years of progressive HR leadership experience with a focus on managing a global workforce.
  3. Strong background in the mining or engineering industry is highly preferred.
  4. Demonstrated success in developing and implementing global HR strategies and initiatives.
  5. Proven track record in talent acquisition employee development and performance management.
  6. Expertise in HR operations compliance and best practices across multiple regions.
  7. Experience leading DEI initiatives and fostering an inclusive workplace culture.
  8. Excellent communication interpersonal and leadership skills.
  9. Strategic thinker with the ability to drive change and innovation.
  10. Proficiency in HRIS and other HR technology platforms.
