Caresyntax makes surgery safer and smarter to help patients and caregivers when it matters most. We converge AIpowered software devices and clinical services to help our customers improve surgical outcomes.

The Connected Surgery module of the Caresyntax platform is a softwarebasedORintegration solution that offerssurgical teams a more costefficient and convenient cloudbased platform with realtimedecision support.

The Director of Product Management is responsible for ensuring product market fit product roadmap ensuring that the buyers of the Connected Surgery module are able to meet and exceed the expected ROI from this module. The Director of Product Management will partner closely with Product Marketing Product Owners Commercial Team PMO to ensure the commercial success of the Connected Surgery module in the global market.

Tasks

Identify the right concepts that grows market share improves customer experience and drives growth:

  • Source feature ideas from customers competitors partners sales service and solution engineering teams and/or own industry knowhow.
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience generate user and technical requirements as well as use case scenarios
  • Assess market competition deliver competitive comparison
  • Ensure that the Buyers of the product are able to see clear value and ROI from the product

Define the product :

  • Manage product feature concepts design development & production processes
  • Research and test for viability of the product in the market and profitability
  • Create and manage a longterm roadmap for the products evolution in the market
  • Work collaboratively with solution engineering and R&D teams to enable the appropriate architecture frameworks and engineering design for future product enhancements
  • Manage and define dependencies between software and hardware platform

Product and Sales Support:

  • Support quality management team with regulatory compliance
  • Communicate roadmap and product strategy to stakeholders
  • Support sales product marketing and marketing teams with the necessary product knowledge provide regular product updates and presentations support specific sales opportunities
  • Provide support to the PMO as needed for successful implementation of the Connected Surgery products

Management and Leadership:

  • Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure user stories accurately translate the needs of the customer to engineering
  • Jointly define and execute the product roadmaps
  • Maintain product documentation in collaboration with product owners and UX writers

Comply with data securitypolicies and expectations

Support quality audits and initiatives as needed and requested

Requirements

  • Advance Degree in Business Engineering or Technical Field
  • 10 years experience in Product Management or Product Marketing in Medical Device or Digital Healthcare (cloud experience preferred)
  • Detailed understanding of the OR Integration market with experience launching new products and managing existing product lines
  • Demonstrable experience in managing regulated products with MDR FDA certification
  • Proven track record of driving innovation and growth.
  • Proven ability in Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products and managing the P&L for business line(s).
  • Strong leadership strategic thinking and communications skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and address operational efficiencies.
  • Technical background with Operating Room experience
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Proven ability to influence crossfunctional teams without formal authority.
  • Must be able to travel 25% of the time.
  • Fluent in both German and English
