Senior Electronics Engineer

• Developing complex electronics for batterypowered surveying instruments covering the entire process from requirements engineering concept development commissioning and verification to series production.
  
• Creating demanding circuit designs using ECAD and simulation tools.
  
• Designing and implementing embedded sensor software in C/C for peripheral MCUs or application processors covering areas such as power management HMI IMU and camera modules.
  

• Coordinate and represent the specialist group within the core team.
  
• Facilitate interdisciplinary development of solutions.
  
• Maintain effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
  
• Specify accessories (e.g. batteries chargers cables etc.) for external development partners.
  
• Depending on your specialization contribute to shaping the technology roadmap as part of a gatekeeper or expert group and lead technology projects.
  

Requirements

• You hold a degree (FH/university) in electronics/electrical engineering or a related field possibly complemented by a Masters degree.
  
• You possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in developing electronic designs with embedded software.
  
• Familiarity with SI/PI simulation and thermal management is advantageous.
  
• You have a track record of leading innovation projects demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of systems.
  
• You thrive in collaborating with external development partners.
  
• You exhibit networked and highly entrepreneurial thinking.
  
• You maintain a positive mindset and work with a high degree of independence.
  
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and German is essential for this role.
