Turbomachinery Engineer

Destinus R&D Team is searching for experienced engineers to take up the position as Turbomachinery Engineer. This is a key position for the development of our next generation of turbomachinery solutions. Tasks

• Mechanical design of gas turbine components and assemblies
• Perform FEA simulations and basic calculations to support the design process
• Participate and/or lead technical investigations
• Setup and qualify suppliers and manufacturing processes in collaboration with our supply chain
• Setting up and managing development projects and tasks
• Mentoring of junior engineers
• Providing technical support to Supply chain Operations and Field Service

Requirements

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar with a MEng MSc or equivalent
• Working knowledge in mechanical design of gas turbine components
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Software skills including SolidWorks or equivalent
• Experience with FEA
• Knowledge about hightemperature materials is an advantage
• Knowledge about manufacturing processes is an advantage
• Experience from life time assessments of gas turbine components is an advantage
• Important competences are: Written and verbal communication skills Resultsdriven Initiative Knowledge Problem solving
