Overview:

The Key Account Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining and expanding relationships with strategically important large customers. The Key Account Manager is responsible for achieving sales quota and assigned strategic account objectives as well as developing new business within these customers. This role requires a strong understanding of the customers business needs and ability to build and maintain strong longlasting customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the company s customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong longlasting customer relationships.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment.
  • Provide regular updates and reports including forecasts to the management team.
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory.
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
  • Develop and implement strategies for retaining key accounts.
  • Lead the account planning process and ensure all customers needs and expectations are met.
  • Protect and increase the companys revenue streams by minimizing churn and negotiating upsell opportunities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Stay uptodate with industry and market trends.
  • Conduct business reviews using CRM tools to ensure customers are satisfied with products and services.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure client success.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Sales or relevant field.
  • Proven experience in Account Management or Sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization including executive and Clevel.
  • Experience in delivering clientfocused solutions based on customer needs.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
  • Excellent listening negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with CRM software and MS Office.
