Job Description
*Job Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Network Technician who has knowledge in Cisco and Fortinet technologies for infrastructure upgrade project.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for below at High Level
1. Physically installing the Cisco Switches and Fortinet Firewall in exiting Network RACK.
2. Power on the Devices
3. Make Physical Connectivity on Fiber or Copper as per Plan Given
4. Connect Devices to Console through laptop and push the configuration given.
5. Make the devices up at the Site
6. Basic Troubleshooting for Physical connection
7. Replacing the Old Wireless Access Point with new access points
8. Installation of Power Injector for Wireless Access Points
9. Site Survey before installation to check availability of Space Power etc .
10. Sign off from the Client on handover Document and other related work.
**Documentation and Reporting:
** Provide accurate details like Serial Number of Devices Port Connections etc.
Requirements
Associates or bachelor s degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
Certifications in Cisco (e.g. CCNA) and Fortinet are highly desirable.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the relevant field.
Proven experience with Cisco switches Fortinet firewalls and Cisco wireless access points.
Strong understanding of network infrastructure and hardware.
Worked in Critical Setups To maintain a high level of professionalism with the client and should be Emotionally Sound
Knowledge of network protocols (e.g. TCP/IP DNS DHCP) WAN/LAN and VPN technologies.
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
**Working Conditions:**
This role may require availability outside of standard working hours including nights and weekends.
Physical requirements include the ability to install hardware in various environments which may involve lifting equipment
