Job Description
- Understanding of commercial mechanical codes and the ability to apply this knowledge in the field.
- Strong diagnostic skills to determine the problem with HVAC systems and devices.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical details to non-technical customers team members and stakeholders.
- Physical abilities that allow for the lifting of heavy equipment reaching high areas and performing tasks in confined spaces.
- Customer service skills to build relationships with clients schedule appointments follow up on services and handle any complaints or issues.
- Attention to detail to ensure all parts of the HVAC systems are properly installed serviced and functioning.
- Time management and organization skills to complete tasks on schedule coordinate with team members and prioritize work orders.
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics to understand the layout and functionality of the HVAC systems.
- Problem-solving skills to quickly identify and rectify faults malfunctions or performance issues in HVAC systems.
Requirements
- Experience with troubleshooting HVAC systems including air handling units controls chillers and boiler
- EPA Certification
- At least 5 years of experience with HVAC systems in a COMMERCIAL SETTING
- Must be able to pass a drug and background screening
Education
Must have high school diploma or GED. Additional schooling is not required, but is a plus.
