We are looking for a dedicated Spray Technician to join Southern Green Turf Care in Summerville. As a Spray Technician you will play a crucial role in maintaining the health and appearance of our clients lawns through the application of fertilizers pesticides and herbicides. This position is vital to our company as it directly impacts the quality of service we provide to our customers helping us maintain our reputation as a leading turf care provider in the area.
As a Spray Technician at Southern Green Turf Care you will be involved in a variety of projects aimed at enhancing the overall health and aesthetics of lawns. Your attention to detail knowledge of different types of turf and ability to follow application guidelines will be key to ensuring the success of each project. This role offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in turf care and develop your skills in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Apply fertilizers pesticides and herbicides to lawns following specific instructions
- Calibrate and maintain spray equipment to ensure accurate application
- Monitor and report any issues related to turf health or pest infestations
- Keep accurate records of applications and materials used
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding treatment plans and recommendations
- Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines at all times
- Collaborate with team members to achieve company goals
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in turf care
Requirements:
- Completion of an internship in turf management or related field
- Basic knowledge of turf types pests and diseases
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Capability to lift and carry heavy equipment as needed
- Willingness to obtain a pesticide applicator license
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
