Comex 2000 is currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Team Manager to join our MDU Build VM team in London.


What are we looking for

Are you a committed hardworking and eager to learn individual Then come join the Comex 2000 family!

We are looking for a team manager to manage and control all site build activities of their team and subcontractors whilst delivering specific targets. As a fieldbased manager you will be expected to offer leadership and have a high level of responsibility for your team s success. You will prioritise the implementation and monitoring of agreed objectives whilst also ensuring company and client policy and procedure is followed.



What will you be doing

As a Team Manager your core responsibilities will be

  • Managing the field activity of your team whilst ensuring Health & safety policies and procedures are always adhered to.
  • Working to NRSWA Guidelines.
  • Monitor Team performance and activity. This includes prepull works site Civils and all tasks related to the build.
  • Implementation of new recruits/trainees into your team. Regularly assess trainees within your team.
  • Managing monthly completion rates ensuring customers and clients are kept fully updated.
  • Maintain our company image ensuring a good reputation is upheld at all times when dealing with our clients and their customers.
  • Resolve any issues raised by the technicians within your team and escalate issues outside your remit where appropriate.
  • Use your own initiative and seize every opportunity to enhance customer s overall experience.
  • Ensure all complaints are promptly addressed with minimal customer and client inconvenience and confirm satisfactory resolution on each occasion.
  • Managing discipline
  • Managing staff and mentoring team members
  • Managing team members sickness and attendance.
  • Holding regular team briefs task delegation review team issues and overall performance.
  • Setting regular targets and objectives in conjunction with your Manager.
  • Site communication encourage respect with open transparent communication.
  • Inspiring and motivating staff to increase performance.
  • Performance management.
  • Providing regular coaching and support to your team.
  • Providing individual feedback to team members where appropriate.
  • Lead by example
  • Uphold and maintenance of team morale.


Requirements

Skills & Qualifications required:

  • Communication Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

  • Leadership and Vision Ability to inspire team with a clear vision and purpose.

  • Personal presentation requirement to maintain a professional level in relation to individual appearance at all times.
  • Hold a NRSWA Unit 2 qualification desirable candidates will hold Unit 10.

Skills and Qualifications Excellent communication skills Ability to work with minimum supervision Ability to work within a team Be able to prioritise, organise and manage tasks Experience or willingness to learn key aspects of telecommunications infrastructure Good observational and analytical skills and a good eye for detail Well-presented and have good presentation skills Must have good IT skills - specifically Microsoft Excel and Word Must be holding a Full Clean Valid UK Driving License for a minimum of 1 year
