Job Description
Website Maintenance:
Regularly update WordPress core themes and plugins to ensure optimal performance and security.
Conduct routine website backups and implement disaster recovery plans.
Customization:
Install and customize WordPress themes to align with the brand and user experience goals.
Implement custom CSS for finetuning website aesthetics and responsiveness.
Incorporate custom graphics and images to enhance visual appeal.
Plugin Management:
Evaluate install and configure relevant plugins to enhance website functionality.
Contact theme or plugin developers for tickets and troubleshooting when errors arise.
Troubleshoot and resolve plugin conflicts or issues promptly.
SEO Optimization:
Optimize sitemap and pages for search engines ensuring metadata and onpage elements align with current SEO best practices.
Implement and maintain pixels Google Analytics and other tools for enduser behavior data gathering.
Security and Performance:
Implement security best practices to safeguard websites against potential threats.
Monitor website performance and implement optimizations for speed and user experience.
Team Collaboration:
Interface with team members regarding customer issues and collaborate on solutions.
Collaborate with external vendors for domain management and hosting services.
Actively participate in team meetings and discussions.
Vendor Communication:
Contact theme or plugin developers for issue resolution and ongoing support.
Work with other in team vendors in slack.
Analytics and Reporting:
Utilize analytics tools to track website performance and user engagement.
Generate reports on key metrics providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Proven experience as a WordPress Webmaster or similar role. Proficient in HTML, CSS, and basic graphic design. Familiarity with on-page SEO best practices. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
