You should have a strong background in managing a business with a knack for advising top executives and getting different departments to work as one.

What the Head of People Will Do:

Use tech to make admin tasks easier freeing up time for everyone to do their best work.

Create a fantastic work environment for employees from the moment they apply to when they say goodbye.

Set clear goals and provide feedback to boost team performance.

Drive growth and make decisions based on solid data rather than guesswork.

Keep a constant flow of talent coming in making sure the best people want to join our team.

The Role:

Upgrade and perfect our programs like performance reviews and hiring processes.

Make our HR tasks like payroll and leave requests more efficient with automation.

Look at the data to make working at our company even better and keep our team members around longer.

Lead the way on all things related to our team making sure were looking out for them.

Find and fix any issues in how we operate with solutions based on real evidence.

Work with others in the company to figure out what we need and how to keep improving.

Guide big projects from start to finish with the wisdom of our senior leaders and team heads.

Help executives make decisions manage programs and put plans into action.

Review and improve our companys structure spotting any gaps in knowledge or skills.

Make our processes better so we work more efficiently and effectively.

Create a culture where everyone is excited to work with strong teamwork clear communication and a shared vision.

Offer advice and coaching to improve performance and manage any employee issues.

Keep track of important performance indicators and report them regularly to the COO.


Requirements

Ten years experience in HR management with at least four years as a Director or Senior manager.

Experience making business plans budgets working with software and using metrics to track performance.

A background in team sports is a plus especially if youve worked with professional teams.

Salary: R600k per year allinclusive.
