The Recruitment Specialist (Temporary) will have a broad knowledge of employee recruitment and onboarding. They maintain the human resource information system, own and update the recruitment tracker, provide weekly updates to Human Resources leadership and hiring managers. The Recruitment Specialist (Temporary) will also be charged with updating job descriptions, keeping recruitment
documents up to do, and conducting internal and external recruitment processes, including phone screens, assessments and interviews.

The responsibilities are vast, and they will be relied on for their detail-oriented processes and interpersonal skill to help administer various recruitment initiatives for internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Talent Management

  • Oversee multiple, full life-cycle equitable hiring processes simultaneously, including drafting position descriptions, reviewing resumes, creating interview content/value identification protocols, making offers, and conducting reference and background checks
  • Create and maintain strong partnerships with hiring managers by serving as a trusted advisor and providing training on recruiting best practices and techniques
  • Help enhance systems to guide and track the effectiveness and efficiency of recruitment and selection strategies
  • Deliver an exceptional experience for all applicants by responding to all inquiries within 48 hours, proactively providing status updates, and ensuring communications are warm and accessible
  • Serve as a model ambassador as a great place to work by representing the organization at networking events and job fairs
  • Participate in the onboarding and orientation of all new hires to company systems, policies, general operating procedures, and culture.
  • Coordinate offboarding activities including, executing exit interviews, account termination, etc.

Systems Management and Reporting
  • Maintain recruitment metrics for tracking, reporting, and auditing purposes
  • Manage the organization s employee database and prepare reports

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Human Resources or related fied, and three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience in Human Resources or a combination of education and experience
  • The ability to maintain the strictest of confidentiality, be well-trusted with sensitive HR data and information and protect it
  • Demonstrated expertise in sourcing, recruiting, interviewing and hiring
  • Experience with Payroll and ATS (Applicant Tracking Sytems), such as My Staffing Pro or Paychex
  • Must be able to communicate precisely, and diplomatically both verbally and in written communications
