- Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to develop detailed cost estimates
- Conduct site visits to gather information on construction requirements, access and conditions
- Gather and analyze data on materials, labor, and equipment costs
- Prepare detailed proposals and presentations for clients and management
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure accuracy and completeness of estimates
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to review and discuss project requirements
- Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to secure the s and terms
- Monitor construction progress and adjust estimates as necessary
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, proposals, and contracts
