What we do

Revalue supercharges the world's leading nature-based developers. We enable them to go from the initial rapid assessment to first credit issuance, and beyond. All are supported by our climate tech, which creates a step-change in accuracy, speed, automation, and level of insights during the project assessment and development process.

The Systems Jedi is a fully remote role and is strongly preferred to be based in London, but other locations can also be considered.

Tasks

What are the main responsibilities of the role?

Revalue Nature is a fully remote climate tech startup. We believe the tools, platforms, and ways of working of most companies make no sense - focused on email backlogs, managing distracting pings from IM platforms, and forcing all outputs into O365 docs.

We're looking for a Systems Jedi to ensure we're working in the future, utilising the latest and greatest platforms, tools, and ways of working to maximise our individual and collective yield, clarity, and focus.

The Systems Jedi will work within our Ops Team to:

Lead on ensuring Revalue is using the right systems for the right work, with seamless integrations

• Update and evolve our project, task, and milestone management architecture and procedures (we're in Wrike, which we love, but we can greatly improve our setup!)
• Work with the Operations Manager to develop operational KPIs and implement systems to monitor & report on company metrics and targets
• Work across teams to understand system pain points and develop solutions
• Ensure our team is set up for success in our systems. Smooth onboarding; clear guidance on how (and why) we use our systems; tips & tricks to optimise how we work; general evangelism for what works great!
• Train and coach our team on Wrike and our wider systems
• Ensure our systems are backed up, secure, and well-administrated
• Running analytics and generating insights on how we are using our systems and how we are generally performing
• Set up contingency planning
• Liaise with our SAAS/IT providers
• Assist with other tasks as needed

Requirements

What do we expect from you?

Strong track record in systems management and optimisation

• A love of nature; a strong affinity for the conservation and restoration of natural systems
• Mission, values and impact-driven
• Experience working across teams and achieving buy-in for new systems and ways of working
• A self-starter who can make things happen without massive oversight
• Experience with data analysis (preferred)
• Familiarity with cloud-based systems and system administration, especially project and task managers like Wrike, Jira, Asana, and the like
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A proven ability to work effectively in diverse cultural settings
• Resilience and the ability to make difficult things happen, often under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Evidence that you can work in remote teams, are a self-driver with a willingness to take initiative and are committed to continuous improvement and consistent high performance within a complex and fast-growing sector
• Willingness to join an international, remote team, travelling to various international settings as needed
• An understanding of nature-based solutions is desirable but not a must
