Our client, Wadja Wadja High School, is a 7-12 secondary school serving the Indigenous community of Woorabinda, approximately 179kms southwest of The student population of Wadja Wadja is 100% Indigenous and seeks the services ofan experienced and dedicated Learning Support coordinatorto join their team:

- Science
- HASS
This role is part time, permanent for 1year with an additional 1year, this position will be commencing in Term 1, 2023 with NES probationary periods applicable
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will have to meet the following;
- Appropriate Tertiary qualification with registration or eligibility for registration with QCT
- To be able to work as a member of a committed culturally diverse team of professionals, dedicated to providing quality teaching and learning in partnership with the Aboriginal
- To have an understanding of cultural pedagogy and the ability to and provide for, a diverse range of abilities across key learning
- To have the ability to collaborate and work positively as part of a professional learning
- To have willingness to change and develop instructional strategies to increase student growth and
- Experience and / or an interest in teaching Indigenous students would be highly
- Previous learning support experience would be highly
- ISQ Disability EAP portal
- Compliance with overarching governing bodies
- Liaise between all stakeholders for EAP purposes
- Flexible to provide classroom support when required

A generous above industry standard remuneration package is provided with a base salary in the range of $ -198 K depending on your teaching
