Our client, Wadja Wadja High School, is a 7-12 secondary school serving the Indigenous community of Woorabinda, approximately 179kms southwest of The student population of Wadja Wadja is 100% Indigenous and seeks aLearning Support Officer / Teacher Aidejoin their team:

The successful applicant must be able to or can demonstrate knowledge, skills and ability to support classroom teachers with a range of students requiring learning This support may include supporting in the class and or supervising them individually or in small groups under the guidance of a Successful applicants must have the ability to deliver instruction one-on-one with a literacy and or numeracy

This role is part-time, and the position will be commencing in Term 1, 2023 with NES probationary periods

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will have to meet the following;
  • Appropriate qualification with possession of, or eligibility for, a Working with Children suitability
  • To be able to work as a member of a committed culturally diverse team of professionals, dedicated to providing quality teaching and learning in partnership with the Aboriginal
  • To have the ability to collaborate and work positively as part of a professional learning
  • Empathy with young
  • Experience and / or an interest in supporting Indigenous students to learn would be highly

A generous above industry standard remuneration package is provided with a base salary in the range of $ -76 K depending on your ;
