ABOUT THE TEAM

As part of the CEO Office, you directly report into our Chief of Staff Julian and work closely together with our Founder Christian, our leadership team and strategic external partners.

You will be sitting next to Julian and Christian and work on the same things they do. Whether it s defining processes on how to lead the company through context and KPIs, supporting Julian to build up functions, spearheading company wide cross functional projects or leading our internal communication such as company wide Townhalls, leadership groups or strategy offsites. You will be in the first line and as close as it gets to the company wide strategy.

This is the perfect role for someone who wants to be close to strategy and management to eventually become a founder themselves or grow into a strategic/ operational role.

WHAT YOU LL BE DOING

• Internal communication : Actively support sharing context in the firm. While we are now at a size where we have teams for most projects, the majority of the firmwide communication comes directly from the CEO office. You will be a crucial part in preparing communication for core projects and, more importantly, own the coordination and execution of those - this can be preparation of the next company wide Townhall meeting, fireside chats with our management team, company wide written communication or gathering data for our next leadership round

• Setting Up Functions for Success : As our Chief of Staff, Julian s job is to make the company more efficient. Next to sharing context company wide, this can also mean direct collaboration with functions in two ways:

  • Diving deep into a function and supporting the leader over a longer time period to set them structurally up for success
  • Taking over the operational leadership of a function for a period of 6-12 months. This is not a coffee boiling job, but requires hands-on support and eagerness to dive deep into a topic with the unrealistic ambition to become an expert overnight.

• Spearheading Company Wide Cross-Functional Collaboration: In a fast paced and changing environment, ownership is not always clear, even more so when several functions are collaborating on a company wide project. If that s the case, it s your job to dive deep and jump in as a project manager/ mini CEO to increase efficiency

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Empathy: You will be an important pillar of our internal communication and with that part of Trade Republic's voice. We are looking for someone that shows vulnerability, is kind and finds pleasure in building trusted relationships
• Service Mentality: You will need to have a low ego for this role. Many projects that you will be involved in are either confidential or to elevate others. You need to be willing to do the groundwork and optimize for the company's success, not your own
• Energy: The ideal person for this job is proactive, outgoing, self-motivated, and most importantly, fun to work with. You should distinguish yourself from others through your eagerness to learn and ability to integrate easily in new settings
• High attention to detail: We are looking for analytical fire-power. Someone that takes pleasure in going deep and is able to do so quickly. You work directly and mostly with our top management, which is why we expect high attention to detail

We are looking for candidates who bring experience in fast paced environments. This being said, you will not be leveled based on your tenure/ experience - what we are assessing is your expected impact.

Candidates can come from all types of background, but perfect command of the English language is required.
