The Service Coordinator in this company will be working closely with Compressed Air Engineers servicing everything from small issues, preventive maintenance to full on installations. And your role, is make sure they go to where they are meant to go, support them in what they need, and make sure the end customer is happy and you solve any problems that comes up as well as the admin that comes with this (will send you a job spec before submitting you).

This company has been going form strength to strength over the years, and during our tough times. They specialise in the servicing and installation of compressed air systems across the Kent, south London and Surrey area as a norm, with a few customers around that area too.




Requirements

You and your background

It s a role where you have go to move people around, make sure people are happy and make sure things are done. In a nutshell -

  • Good on the phone
  • Strong admin skills
  • Be an assistant to service/operations manager, assisting with day to day management of the service team and the engineers as they progress through their day
  • Taking responsibility to assist in all areas of the service team in busy periods
  • Proactive approach to helping, booking work and converting old or overdue service customers
  • Managing and taking near full responsibility of our diary system

  • An excellent communicator, both verbal and email, for internal and external comms.
  • Good literacy, manor and customer service-based language skills
  • Good geographical awareness
  • Strong communicator and an eye for detail
  • Be able to read the situation around them and when speaking to customers situational awareness
  • Keen to learn more and develop their role into more than just Service Coordinator, to become a strong part of our service team working together to improve the effectiveness of the service department.

  • 25,000 - 28,000 per annum
  • Pension available government standard auto enrolment

KEY SKILLS/Qualifications we are seeking. Competence in problem solving, planning and decision making Solid Works / Sheet Metal Design / PDM Knowledge of metal fabrication, fabrics and plastics Understanding and ability to work in an SME Knowledge of Lean manufacturing Knowledge of LVD and Amada Press brake software Product costing knowledge Ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the business. Degree in engineering related discipline OR HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering
