Marketing Manager

Our client is a specialist value-added distributor of converged IP solutions to service providers, network operations, system integrators and resellers. We are looking to recruit a Marketing Manager for this dynamic organisation.

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating, implementing and executing marketing plans, strategies and activities to promote the company and their products, services and brands by performing and managing a wide range or marketing and advertising support duties and team member to achieve the overall company objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage corporate identities

Marketing planning and budgeting

Advertising and public relations - print and digital/social media

Website implementation and maintenance

Surveys and customer feedback

Point of sales and promotions

Exhibitions and events

New product launches - design of packing and all relevant material

Management of marketing funds provided by suppliers and clients.

Management of the Marketing TEam - train and mentor staff

Requirements

Experience Required :

Matric with a Diploma or Degree in Marketing

3 - 5 years working experience as a Marketing Manager

Experience with coordinating and managing promotions

Report writing

Computer proficiency with MS Office Suite

Understanding and experience with SEM and SEO plans

Google AdWords and Analytics experience

Experienced with email marketing, email platforms and reporting

Adobe suite experience

Web design/development skills advantageous

Required Skills, knowledge and personal characteristics :

Ability to work under solid pressure and meet tight deadlines

Effect project management skills

Sound understandings of marketing principles

Effective understanding of latest technologies and should identify how to apply them in marketing

Excellent copywriting skills and should be able to rework technical content for the wider audience

Good team player and should meet and exceed team goals

Plan decisions and practice good time management

Build excellent working relationships to attain goals

Work collaboratively and efficaciously as a team member

Be self motivated, confident, energetic and creative

Effective communicator
