Our client is world renown for the supply of premium hair extensions. We are on the hunt for an exceptional sales professional to call on leading, high end salons to promote, educate and grow sales.
Building trusting relationships with salon owners while converting them to our clients brand. Educating salon owners to the additional revenue that extensions can provide given that the installation of extensions is the highest earning salon service they can offer. Managing the relationship with salon stylists to give them confidence and the training to not only install the product to the highest standard but confidently introduce and sell the product to their existing client base.

The ideal candidate will be a vivacious person with a passion for hair that has a proven track record in closing deals. Eager to work on their own, driven by incentives and understands how to build relationships and get more from your clients. Similar background in closing deals from a service point of view rather than selling a product would also be advantageous.

Achieving Target

  • Key Account Management of all existing salons; strengthening our relationship and growing their sales,
  • New Business; Identifying and bringing on board new salons and stylists for the product education and training programs. Ensuring that these salons are the RIGHT fit for our premium product,
  • Develop leads via cold calling, internet searching, incoming leads or networking to grow sales the salon industry is forever changing and so are the salons there is new business everywhere!

Tasks and Deliverables

  • Visit between 6 -8 salons per day doing presentations, selling education and building relationships - introduce our product range and enlist salon employees for product training you will need to use your experience in closing deals ,
  • Open between 25 - 36 new salons per annum,
  • Ensure that all orders go via the sales admin department for processing
  • Reporting: weekly report to be sent to Management every Monday and weekly call to discuss,

Education

  • Become a product expert and understand all technical aspects of your brand and application methods
  • Present Education Days to stylists and salon owners in and around the country using the tools we have on offer to teach stylists to consult with their client and offer them our brand as a service.
  • Answer product questions from stylists and end users and troubleshoot product applications with stylists and end consumers
  • Facilitate Consultation Days in salons,
  • Attend trouble shooting appointments with clients and salons if and when required.
  • Be the Brand ambassador between the brand and our clientele.

  • Organisational skills must be high
  • Thirst for knowledge and a passion for what you do!

Experience

  • At least 5 years prior sales experience in target driven environment necessary,
  • Used to managing own time and working independently,
  • Prior experience in beauty or hair industry beneficial

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Matric and or a tertiary education
  • Driver, license and own vehicle essential
  • Extensive travel - Cover the Pretoria region (must reside in Pretoria) with monthly visits to the Orange Free State and to KZN
