Job Description

  • Assist in overseeing project development and execution from start to finish.
  • Assist the project manager, senior management, the head of GFS, and stakeholders in delivering the projects scope, delivery, and objective that meet business goals.
  • Help in closely monitoring and supervising the projects progress to finish and meet the projects deliverables.
  • Identify, discuss, and report any substantial deviations from the projects quality, budget, or schedule.
  • Perform crucial administrative tasks for the project manager, such as maintaining the project schedule, recording meeting minutes, creating progress reports, and drafting and putting together contracts and other legal documents.
  • Assistance in planning and coordinating tasks for the Demand Management Committee (DMC).
  • To ensure a good working relationshipwith internal and external stakeholders are maintained and expectations are achieved to establish a positive working relationship.
  • Assist with developing and implementing efficiency projects for possible cost reductions.
  • Assist with project governance, which includes gate reviews, post audits, and quality assurance of the projects outputs.
  • Assist the Project Manager, GFS, and Group Office with their communication and transformation initiatives.
  • To meet operational and/or strategic requirements, carry out any additional tasks that have been delegated.


Requirements

  • Min a Degree holder in Accounting/Finance or any related field
  • PMP Trained or equivalent Project Management Certification (PRINCE2) is an added advantage
  • At least 3-5 yearsworking experience in IT/Finance/Shared Services environment with minimum involve in 1 cycles of Project implementation either in Project or BAU mode (CR) rollout implementation
  • Solid understanding of IFRS concepts, the skills to interpret standards, and the ability to apply to real life situations
  • Briefly comprehends the operation of the SAP Finance application modules as they relate to the processes
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office programmes, particularly MsPowerpoint. MsSharepoint will be a benefit in addition
  • Advantage is given toknowledge of any continuous improvement methodology, such as Lean and Six Sigma.
  • Requires excellent presenting and communication abilities.
  • Ability to handle expectations of internal and external stakeholders, both locally and internationally, within the process and policy.
  • Excellent team player and communicator with a focus on improving customer experience overall and managing customers problems.
  • Ability to recognize risk before and throughout a project, put it into a business context for more advanced solutions, mitigation, and decision-making.
  • Being able to collaborate with project teams that are spread out geographically and across multiple functions.
