Cyber Security Engineer

Cybersecurity Engineer to add to our growing Cybersecurity team. In this role you will be responsible for driving a more security maturity posture enhancements through designing, developing and deploying network and host-based controls in a 100 cloud environment.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

# Perform internal penetration tests of bank networks enumerate networks, identify vulnerabilities misconfigurations, create reports based on findings, and deliver reports to stakeho lders management

# Skilled in managing, configuring, and utilizing network protection components. (e.g., Firewalls, VPNs, IDS IPS, XDR, EAP-TLS PKI, SOAR, SD-WAN)

# Follow and audit, network and security governance policies, procedures, and standards

# Provide guidance to the engineering staff which aligns design and implementation to IT governance

# Support Breach and Attack Simulations

# Administer testing platform and work with vendor to ensure proper configurations features are enabled and working as expected

# Perform firewall reviews of bank firewalls other perimeter security devices, and create reports based on findings

# Research and develop skills personally and share insights with the team

# Working knowledge of information syst ems security standards and practices (e.g., access control, system hardening, system auditing, log file monitoring, security policies, and incident handling)

# Demonstrated experience of #hands on# security knowledge of one or more of the following p latforms: Firewalls, UTM, Forward Reverse Proxies, DDoS Mitigation, Log aggregation, etc.

# Responsible for managing and developing a team of employees including training, development, performance management, administration, and workforce planning

# Regular reporting of team and project activities to executive leadership

# Strong knowledge of Azure and GCP security controls and configurations and be able to mentor junior staff.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experie nce managing Cybersecurity professionals

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

# OSCP, OSWE, OSWP, CEH, CISSP, GXPN or similar industry-recognized certification required
