Tasks
We have an opportunity for an Advanced Field Service Engineer who is passionate about becoming our new QCS SW specialist to join our Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS) organization in Finland - in the specific in our Lifecycle Solutions and Services (LSS) team and Quality Control Systems (QCS).
Requirements
- Your longer-term goal is to become e professional for QCS SW and process tuning for sheet (Pulp, Paper and Battery) manufacturing processes. Your role will include the SW and process tuning matters in projects and commissioning at customer sites.
- In this role, you are a key driver of our QCS engineers and community.
- Supporting the Service Team and growing Finland installed base.
- Coordination with and communication together with Engineers, Project managers and customers.
- Strict alignment to Honeywell and client health and safety program requirements.
- We will extensively train you for the Honeywell QCS system.
Qualifications
- Degree in Process & Automation Engineering, Information or Engineering Technology, Physics or Computer Science, would be an asset.
- The process knowledge and background are key differentiators. You may have experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of computer-based process control systems or sensors used in sheet manufacturing processes.
- You truly enjoy spending time in front of your laptop and you have great computer skills.
- You are not afraid of basic electronic measurements (multimeter, oscilloscope) - you may know how to program, and have an idea of virtualization, networks, Cyber, and IIOT.
- You are able to accurately document designs and work performed - for instance, you have done this in some projects.
- You feel excited to speak directly with your customers and you understand that your job can make a difference.
- You have a positive attitude and are interested in learning and developing your skills.
- Fluency in English and Finnish will be an asset - no matter what, your written/verbal communication and social skills always influence your partners positively.
- Driving license.
