Testing and Certification Lead

Responsibilities: Build end to end testing process, gathering requirements from all relevant stakeholders Design hardware and firmware tests to meet internal and external industry standards Develop technical test plans in coordination with the engineering team Coordinate the work of lab technicians to achieve the objectives Carry out all tests in our in-house laboratory or external laboratories when needed Carry out and/or manage testing at third party testing laboratories for EMC and electrical safety Lead the certification process Analyze test results, detect issues, and track root causes Consolidate and communicate all results back to relevant stakeholders Manage and design test laboratory, determine appropriate equipment, including testing hardware and calibration Coordinate with Contract Manufacturers to develop automated testing systems for functional and End Of Line verification equipment Develop continuous integration and regression test setups that run automatically on each new software release Required skills and experience: 10 years of Test Engineer Experience 4+ years of experience with medium or high-voltage applications and electronics Familiarity with various testing techniques. Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) Knowledge of quality standards and regulations Great troubleshooting skills Analytical mindset Must have a valid driving license Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field Desirable skills: Additional certification in Quality Assurance or Agile and JIRA software are a plus Excellent written and verbal communications skills Ability to function effectively in a team environment and work independently Note 1: You MUST be legally entitled to work in Canada (i.e., possess Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or Valid Work Permit).
