The Role

The performance marketing team is proud to be one of the most influential teams within Viator, responsible for getting travellers to our site whilst they are in the excitement of planning and booking things to do on their next trip. This role is for someone who is passionate about SEM/PPC, travel and wants to make a meaningful and measurable impact in the work that they are doing.

We are working in a hybrid environment, so excellent communication skills are necessary whether this is over email, slack, video or face to face. The teams you will work with have varied knowledge of SEM/PPC, being able to present why you are working on something and the impact it will have will be pivotal. Decisions are data led; so being able to analyse and present meaningful data to support your theories or show the impact of your projects will be key to success in this role.

Having new ideas, being able to take market knowledge and industry trends and apply them to your work will be crucial to keep us ahead of competition.

We work best when collaborating with like-minded teams, including; data science, analytics, engineering and product. Some of these teams are based on the east coast of the US, so you will often find that your mornings allow you to work on projects and implementation, while afternoons are spent engaging with other teams, discussing ideas, trends, testing and results.

The role will report to the SEM/PPC Manager and form part of the wider performance marketing team. The team is split between London, Oxford and Boston (USA). This role is focused specifically within SEM/PPC, so experience in these fields is needed. However, we recruit focused on the importance of team fit. We hire individuals who are motivated, curious, energetic, problem solvers and team focused. Showing examples of these characteristics and how you work will help your application process.

Our job is to make sure that Viator continues to be the number one tours and activities platform for travellers. The first 3 months of this role will include extensive introductions, training on our systems and how the company operates. Then you will take ownership for launching, optimising and scaling projects that give Viator a competitive advantage as we adapt to the new travel landscape.

What We Seek

-3+ years of experience in a fast paced, performance marketing environment

-Relentless attention and focus on the detail.

-Advanced Excel skills, SQL/Google Big Query experience also a plus

This role can be London, Oxford or remote in the United Kingdom.
