Senior Engineer Electronics (f/m/d)

Job description

As a Senior Engineer Electronics (f/m/d) you will be involved in the design and development of our products. You have successfully used your extensive experience in hardware development for the series development of several products. In this way, you always manage to improve existing and future products by

• pushing forward the architecture and development of electronic devices while considering the legal requirements (safety, EMC) at the same time. In doing so, you always keep an eye on producibility.
• supporting the development of requirements and the definition of interfaces.
• understanding the development and execution of tests and validation of your designs as an integral part of your tasks.
• continuously looking for optimizations of existing components and systems.
• being an important contact person for all development interfaces inside and outside of instagrid.

Requirements

• You have a successfully completed degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable education.
• You were able to gain 5+ years of experience in hardware architecture and development of electronic systems. Ideally, you have experience in the development of Lilon batteries.
• You have extensive circuit design know-how, a background in power electronics is beneficial.
• You have gained experience in the implementation of embedded software.
• You are familiar with the market standards and norms for communication (e.g. powerline communication, bluetooth, LTE).
• You are familiar with the relevant standards on electrical safety of devices and EMC and have already gained practical experience with approval procedures. Early involvement and implementation of the relevant requirements are two of your essential skills.
• You have very good English skills. German skills would be a plus.
