Job Description
Position: Automotive Electrician
Sector: Engineering
Location: Northern Ireland
Length: Permanent
Salary: 12- 15 per hour

Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 07:30-16:30
Friday: 07:30-12:30
Overtime is 1.5 x normal rate (payable after 41.5 hours)
Duties and Responsibilities
Install, modify and fault find customed vehicle-mounted electrical harnesses
Read and interpret engineering drawings
Work in a fast-paced environment
Follow instructions from the production manager
Work in line with ISO 9001 quality management system
Valid car driving license
Requirements
Previous experience in a similar role- within the engineering industry
Confident in diagnostics skills
Familiar with electric and hybrid maintenance
Understand electronics, with the ability to add additional wiring covertly
Education (Desirable)
Degree/Technical Qualification
A Level or equivalent (Electrical Apprenticeship)
Electrical Certification in 18th Edition or equivalent
Additional:
If applying from outside of Northern Ireland, applicants will need to meet the requirements for the Skilled Worker Visa, this includes meeting the minimum 4.0 IELTS score.
