This is a remote position.

We re looking for a Sales Representative to join one of the most dynamic and fastest expanding FinTech s on the continent. With a passion for payments, they identified a gap in the African payments landscape and swiftly moved to bridge that gap and move the online payments industry into centre stage. A bit about the role:

Reporting to the Country Manager for Tanzania. the ideal candidate will be required to understand the Zanzibar market in order to sell products and services to prospective merchants, and perform any other duties as assigned by the management.



Requirements

Your mission:


The main responsibilities are


.

Identify sales targets, plan, initiate and execute sale meetings to meet the set company targets as communicated by the Country Manager or Group Head of Sales

.

To complete a minimum of 100 meetings with clients per month, face-to-face, by skype and phone calls to generate new sales and support existing clients

.

Manage new accounts during and after the sales process

.

To prepare and present weekly sales reports to the Country/Regional Manager, based on sales targets, activities and achievements, deadlines and market intelligence

.

To participate in sales roadshows, workshops, client exhibitions and events as directed by the Country Manager & Sales and Marketing divisions

.

To research, agree and approach sales targets to further the company s sales growth objectives

.

To utilize the company CRM to identify and follow up on leads

.

To schedule 100+ meetings a month with new and existing merchants to maximize transaction values and volumes

.

To learn, internalize and follow company sales systems and procedures


Experience & skills required:


.

Minimum 5 (Senior)/3(Sales Rep) years background in frontline sales

.

Strong communication skills both verbal and written

.

Strong customer relations skills

.

Proven track record in frontline sales and CRM system management

.

Excellent face-to-face presentation skills

.

Ability to work in a team

.

Must be very energetic and thorough

.

Confidence, enthusiasm, and persuasive in nature

.

Excellent organizational skills

.

Good time management skills

.

The motivation to work without supervision

.

The ability to work under pressure and able to meet deadlines

.

Working knowledge of airline, travel or e-commerce industries

.

Optional background in banking or software/system support will be considered relevant (but not vital)

.

Understanding of Office System including Excel & PowerPoint

.

Experience with CRM system for lead & pipeline planning & reporting desirable

.
