Job Description

What we are looking for

We are looking for a Head of Commercial to play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our commercial strategy. This leadership position requires a seasoned professional with a strong commercial and business development background particularly within the logistics and technology sectors. The successful candidate will drive revenue growth manage key client relationships and identify new business opportunities.


What does the job involve

  • Commercial Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop and execute the commercial strategy aligned with the overall business objectives.
    • Analyze market trends competitor activities and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to align commercial strategies with operational capabilities.
  • Business Development:
    • Lead the identification evaluation and pursuit of new business opportunities.
    • Build strategic partnerships with key clients suppliers and industry stakeholders.
    • Drive the development and implementation of innovative solutions to meet client needs.
  • Revenue Generation:
    • Develop and implement pricing strategies to optimize revenue and profitability.
    • Monitor and analyze sales performance identifying areas for improvement and growth.
    • Work closely with the sales team to achieve revenue targets and foster a highperformance culture.
  • Contract Negotiation and Management:
    • Lead negotiations of commercial agreements ensuring favorable terms for the organization.
    • Collaborate with legal teams to review draft and execute contracts and agreements.
    • Establish and maintain solid contractual relationships with clients and partners.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Build and lead a highperforming commercial team providing mentorship and guidance.
    • Foster a collaborative and resultsdriven culture within the commercial department.
    • Ensure effective communication and coordination with other departments to achieve overall business objectives.


Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Logistics or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Experience in Ecommerce B2C or Traditional Trade background (FMCGs/Telecom etc.) Preferred.
  • Startup experience is a plus
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to drive results in a fastpaced environment.
