Job Summary
Customer Onboarding Leadership
- Own the end-to-end customer onboarding lifecycle from contract handover through production go-live.
- Conduct onboarding kickoff meetings.
- Define onboarding plans milestones dependencies and timelines.
- Drive onboarding projects to completion while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Serve as the primary customer contact during implementation.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate activities across:
- Customer stakeholders
- Site operations teams
- SCADA teams
- Internal onboarding engineers
- Product teams
- Development teams
- Customer Success teams
- Ensure all parties remain aligned on project objectives timelines and deliverables.
- Manage escalations and remove delivery roadblocks.
Technical Oversight
Maintain sufficient technical understanding to:
- Understand Solar Wind BESS and Hybrid plant architectures.
- Interpret Single Line Diagrams (SLDs).
- Understand data acquisition methods including:
OPC UA OPC DA MQTT SFTP APIs Modbus - Review onboarding approaches and integration plans.
- Assess onboarding risks and dependencies.
- Facilitate discussions between customers and technical teams.
- Ensure technical issues are tracked and resolved appropriately.
Note: This role is not expected to perform hands-on configuration coding protocol setup or integration activities.
Governance & Delivery Management
- Ensure onboarding activities align with Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Monitor project progress and delivery risks.
- Track onboarding KPIs and milestones.
- Provide regular status reporting to customers and leadership.
- Ensure documentation and onboarding records are maintained.
Validation & Handover
- Coordinate validation activities between customers and technical teams.
- Ensure customer acceptance criteria are met.
- Obtain customer sign-off.
- Manage transition to Customer Success and Support teams.
- Notify Finance and commercial teams upon onboarding completion for billing activation.
Requirements
Required Experience
- 10 years in renewable energy operations customer onboarding implementation management project delivery customer success or related functions.
- Experience working with:
- Solar PV plants
- Wind farms
- Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
- Hybrid energy systems
- Experience managing SaaS SCADA Industrial IoT or enterprise software deployments.
- Experience managing customer-facing implementation projects.
