Job Description
The Talent Partner Engineering serves as a senior strategic recruiting partner supporting DDNs most critical and complex technical hiring needs. This role works closely with executive leadership Engineering leaders Finance and HR to design and execute scalable recruiting strategies for high-impact roles across software infrastructure systems and emerging technology teams.
This individual operates as a trusted advisorowning workforce planning conversations influencing hiring strategy ensuring compliance and delivering exceptional candidate and stakeholder experiences across the full talent lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Talent Partnership
- Serve as the primary recruiting advisor to Engineering leadership for high-impact senior and niche technical roles
- Partner with executives and hiring leaders on workforce planning role scoping and hiring prioritization
- Translate business and technical needs into effective recruiting strategies aligned with DDNs growth objectives
Full-Cycle Engineering Recruiting
- Own full-cycle recruiting for complex Engineering roles from intake through offer and close
- Develop targeted sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill technical talent including passive candidate engagement
- Drive inclusive equitable and consistent interview processes aligned with company standards
Stakeholder & Process Leadership
- Act as a liaison between Engineering Finance HR and Legal to ensure alignment on approvals compensation and compliance
- Provide guidance on job leveling role alignment and market considerations
- Influence and improve recruiting processes tools and reporting to drive efficiency and scalability
Candidate Experience & Employer Brand
- Deliver a high-touch white-glove candidate experience for senior and technical candidates
- Represent DDNs culture mission and values throughout the hiring process
- Partner with leadership to enhance DDNs engineering employer brand
Mentorship & TA Enablement
- Serve as a mentor and subject-matter expert for other recruiters and TA team members
- Share best practices in sourcing stakeholder management and complex offer execution
- Support TA initiatives documentation and continuous improvement efforts
Required Qualifications
- 8 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting with a strong focus on Engineering or technical roles
- Proven experience partnering with senior leaders and executives in a consultative recruiting capacity
- Deep understanding of technical roles hiring markets and competitive talent landscapes
- Strong stakeholder management communication and negotiation skills
- Experience working within Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting for infrastructure systems storage HPC AI/ML or distributed systems roles
- Familiarity with job leveling compensation frameworks and hiring approvals
- Experience supporting global or multi-region hiring
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced evolving environments
- Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience
