Role Description

Working within our Design & Engineering teams youll create some of the worlds most iconic and ground-breaking structures and spaces that transform the world around us from making journeys easier to opening up public places that bring people together.

The role sits within our Resilience Global Business Area. We work to protect our natural environment and water resources while powering our world for future generations. Around the world were feeling the effects climate change rapid urbanization loss of biodiversity. The rate at which were seeing large-scale unforeseen events such as floods and wildfires is becoming more frequent. Role Accountabilities

• Ensure project documents are accurate clear concise and compliant with best practices and applicable project standards.
• Support automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure the drafting scope is delivered within budget and timelines.
• Manage documentation including preparation and maintenance of drawing registers.
• Support developing BEPs and BIM project workflow criteria for complex projects
• Support regular model audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with naming conventions.
• Demonstrate strong selfmotivation and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Possess good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
• Adapt to new tasks and challenges based on evolving business requirements.
• Maintain compliance with the Arcadis business management system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary drafting team in the Energy sector
• Provide technical advice and guidance to project team members.
• Assist in developing team members to perform at their full potential.
• Promote awareness and compliance with relevant Health & Safety regulations.
• Diploma in Civil Engineering or Bachelors degree in civil engineering from a recognized University.
• Developing BIM Models and detailed engineering drawings for the roads drainage and earthworks for energy transmission & distribution projects in accordance with the Companys quality safety and project management engineering procedures and controls
• Proficiency in BIM tools Civil 3D AutoCAD Autodesk Forma and BIM 360
• Exposure in BIM tools Revit Navisworks and ProjectWise will be an added advantage
• Capability to develop automation workflows and standardize processes.
• Good understanding of documentation practices aligned with UK standards and projectspecific BIM Execution Plan (BEP) requirements.
• Proficiency in working with multiple software platforms with a solid understanding of interoperability for disciplinespecific tasks.
• Ability to prepare and maintain a master drawing list ensuring accurate document status and timely client submissions.
• 4 years of experience in roads and drainage deliverables in Civil 3D platform
• Exposure in substations internal roads drainage systems switchyards overhead and buried lines cabling site grading Swept Path Analysis ancillary site facilities such as water supply drainage foul sewer site security arrangements and access roads will be an added advantage.
• Prior experience working on UKbased projects (advantageous). Familiarity with UK codes standards and industry practices is essential; experience with standards from the USA Europe and Australia is an added advantage.
• Experience in consultancy environments especially within the energy and utilities sector.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English supported by good analytical abilities
