Job Title : Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake DBT)

Job Type : Full-time / Contract

Responsibilities:

• 5 years of experience in Data Engineering Data Warehousing or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Cloud.
• Expertise in DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformation and modeling.
• Experience designing dimensional models star schemas and data marts.
• Experience managing Snowflake Virtual Warehouses resource monitors and workload optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Zero-Copy Cloning Time Travel and Snowflake data-sharing features.
• Strong experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
• Experience with data governance security and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with data quality validation testing and monitoring frameworks.
• Advanced SQL skills with experience in query tuning and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of ELT/ETL concepts and modern data architectures.
• Knowledge of Snowflake Streams Tasks Dynamic Tables and Snowpipe.
• Design develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ELT processes using dbt Snowflake and Airflow.
• Manage and optimize Snowflake Virtual Warehouses for performance scalability and cost efficiency.
• Leverage Zero-Copy Cloning for development testing and deployment processes.
• Develop orchestration workflows and scheduling mechanisms using Apache Airflow.
• Monitor pipeline performance troubleshoot failures and ensure data reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable data solutions.
• Establish data governance security and access control standards within Snowflake.
• Create and maintain technical documentation data dictionaries and operational runbooks.
