Job Summary
Job Role: Regional Sales Manager
Location: PAN India
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for the strategic expansion and
operational excellence in their assigned territory. You will lead
a high-performing sales team optimize distribution networks and ensure the brand
achieves market leadership in the FMCG/Food sector.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Growth: Develop and execute regional sales plans to achieve
ambitious revenue targets and market share growth.
Team Leadership: Manage mentor and track the performance of Area Sales
Managers (ASMs) and Sales Officers.
Distribution Management: Appoint new distributors and strengthen existing
channel partner relationships to ensure product availability in urban and rural
markets.
Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities pricing strategies and
consumer trends to provide actionable feedback to the leadership team.
Sales Operations: Ensure timely reporting stock management at the CFA level
and effective implementation of trade marketing schemes.
Candidate Profile
Experience: Minimum 10 years of core sales experience in the FMCG or Food
industry.
Education: Graduate/Post-Graduate (MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred).
Leadership: Proven experience in managing large multi-layered sales teams
across diverse geographies.
Skills: Strong negotiation analytical mindset and deep understanding of the
General Trade (GT) and Modern Trade (MT) landscape.
