DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES About the role

The Product Manager is responsible for driving profitable business growth by managing the complete sales lifecyclefrom lead qualification to closurewhile ensuring strong pipeline hygiene partner engagement and alignment with vendor expectations

This role will report to the Business Unit Head

As the Product Manager you will:

1. Sales Pipeline and Funnel Management

  • Develop maintain and manage a qualified 3X sales funnel aligned with vendor-assigned revenue targets.
  • Conduct bi-weekly pipeline reviews with vendor teams to ensure alignment on progress and forecasts.
  • Oversee accurate and timely deal registrations opportunity tracking and reporting.

2. Lead Management and Customer Engagement

  • Qualify leads generated through cold outreach inbound inquiries and partner referrals.
  • Independently present vendor solutions to prospects involving senior or technical stakeholders only for executive-level or strategic accounts.

3. Proposal and Solution Support

  • Prepare and oversee the creation of competitive quotations and proposals.
  • Coordinate proof-of-concepts (POCs) demo units and other pre-sales engagements to support solution validation.

4. Partner and Vendor Management

  • Manage key stakeholders within the business line to ensure effective collaboration and execution.
  • Identify develop and nurture Focus Partners to drive mutual growth.
  • Deliver partner enablement sessions including updates and training programs.

5. Marketing Collaboration

  • Establish measurable objectives for marketing investments and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing teams and external partners to plan and execute joint campaigns effectively.

6. Certifications and Compliance

  • Obtain and maintain all mandatory vendor sales certifications.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational governance standards and reporting requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE About you

The Product Manager :

  • Bachelors Degree in Business IT Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in channel sales preferably in networking or IT solutions
  • Proven track record in selling solutions related to Extreme Networks products and services
  • Strong understanding of solution selling and partner ecosystem management
  • Experience in working with distributors resellers and system integrators
  • Excellent presentation negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles and drive revenue growth
  • Self-motivated with strong relationship-building and account management skills
