Job Summary
Role & Responsibilities:
To be responsible for ensuring that product and quality documentation is delivered to the
customer on time and meets the technical requirements.
To proactively co-ordinate monitor and up-date Quality policies procedures and standards.
To attend Quality meetings and provide technical support on all Quality aspects. Issue agenda
minutes and prepare monthly and yearly quality statistics.
To give advice on Quality aspects.
To audit and liase with Operators/Supervisors/Managers to ensure they have adhered to the
correct procedures.
To reduce the costs of rework scrap and concessions across the business
To manage and review the management system to ensure its continuing effectiveness by formal
systematic auditing
To provide a service to the rest of the business in relation to quality aspects of order enquiries
and contracts
To liaise with engineering staff in respect of quality assurance in design / development
To ensure quality and inspection plans are prepared on time as necessary.
To Organise Third Party Inspection at Vendors end
Behavioral Competencies:
Good verbal and written communication.
Ability to analyze complex situations and Problem-solving skills.
Able to select train and motivate constructively.
Knowledge:
Audit knowledge of ISO 9001.
Knowledge of ISO requirements and engineering best practices.
Defect Analysis and Root Cause analysis ability.
Experience of internal & Supplier auditing.
Experience of Welding and Fabrication processes
Level II Certificate holder in NDT Hand on experience in CMM is advantageous but not essential.
