ISeries Infrastructure Admin IT Analyst
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated iSeries Infrastructure Administrator / IT Analyst to lead the stability security and performance of our IBM i (AS/400) environment. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong ownership
collaboration and problem-solving capabilities to support critical business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Administer monitor and optimize IBM i (iSeries/AS400) infrastructure ensuring high availability and operational excellence.
Lead system upgrades patching backup/recovery capacity planning and performance tuning activities.
Manage security controls user access compliance requirements and infrastructure governance.
Troubleshoot complex system network and application issues driving timely resolution and continuous improvement.
Partner with cross-functional teams vendors and business stakeholders to deliver reliable technology solutions.
Develop and maintain technical documentation operational procedures and disaster recovery plans.
Champion automation standardization and best practices to enhance platform efficiency and resilience.
Qualifications :
Strong experience administering IBM i (AS/400) environments including system operations security backups and performance management.
Solid knowledge of IBM i OS Power Systems HA/DR solutions and infrastructure support processes.
Experience with system monitoring troubleshooting and incident/problem management.
Understanding of networking storage security and enterprise infrastructure concepts.
Excellent analytical communication and stakeholder management skills.
