Job Description: Food & Beverage Executive
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Executive to oversee operations of our corporate cafeteria facility. The ideal candidate brings 3-4 years of hands-on experience in corporate dining management with a proven track record of delivering quality food services while maintaining operational efficiency and high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management Oversee day-to-day cafeteria operations including food preparation service delivery and facility maintenance. Ensure smooth workflow during peak service hours and maintain consistent quality standards across all meal periods. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement of fresh ingredients and supplies.
Team Leadership Supervise and mentor kitchen staff service personnel and support teams. Develop work schedules assign responsibilities and conduct regular performance reviews. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
Menu Planning & Quality Control Design varied nutritious menus that cater to diverse dietary preferences and requirements. Ensure food safety protocols and hygiene standards are strictly followed in compliance with local health regulations. Conduct regular quality checks on food preparation presentation and taste.
Budget & Cost Management Manage cafeteria budgets effectively controlling food costs and minimizing waste. Negotiate with vendors for competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards. Track expenses and prepare monthly financial reports.
Customer Service Gather feedback from employees and implement improvements based on their preferences. Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly. Maintain high satisfaction scores through consistent service quality.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 3-4 years in corporate cafeteria management or institutional food service operations
Education: Bachelors degree in Hotel Management Culinary Arts Food Technology or related field
Technical Skills: Knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP FSSAI compliance) inventory management systems and basic financial reporting
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage teams of 10-15 staff members and coordinate multiple service operations simultaneously
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels vendors and management
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing cafeterias serving 200 employees daily certification in food safety management knowledge of diverse cuisines and dietary requirements (vegan gluten-free diabetic-friendly) and proficiency with cafeteria management software or POS systems.
