About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O SCM Consultant to join our this role you will collaborate with key business stakeholders of one of our manufacturing clients having operations across the globe. Our client has undertaken an initiative aimed at transforming their fragmented legacy ERP systems into a single unified and harmonised ERP system that supports the companys strategic growth and operational excellence ambitions. As part of this transformation journey a core solution has been already developed and successfully piloted at one of their sites. Further deployment of their core solution template to rest of their business sites is carried out in phased manner through wave rollouts.

As part of these phased wave rollouts you will be leading as an ERP functional expert in Get Fit workshops to align local processes with the global model training of local Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) who will in turn train end-users.

Post core solution alignment at each business entity you will be responsible for effective coordination and bringing in the required alignment between teams (Onsite/Offshore) belonging to different implementation streams such as configuration testing development data migration System Integration and Deployment.

You will be providing the required guidance and support throughout various implementation phases (Design Build System Integration Testing UAT Go-Live and Hyper care).

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Design:

  • Lead workshops with SME Business owners and super users of respective rollout business units and align the global solution template with local business processes.
  • You will be playing a key role in taking the global solution to all stakeholders and ensuring adequate comprehension of solution its envisioned benefits and adoption of the standardised process by business users.
  • While ensuring minimal changes from global template any mandated changes due to local compliancy and operation specific requirements are discussed and documented.
  • Documentation: All the decisions pertaining to process mappings changes required and its impacts are clearly documented and appended to the solution document. This must be in synch with the updates coming from other functional modules.

Configure core D365 F&O SCM modules including:

  • Mixed-mode Manufacturing (Process and Discrete)

  • Production Reporting with Production Floor Execution

  • Route Management
  • Master Planning
  • Inbound Consignment
  • Demand Forecasting

  • Procurement and Sourcing
  • Sales Order Management
  • Quality Management
  • Asset Management
  • Planning Optimization
  • Reporting and Analytics (Power BI)

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with Architects Functional teams technical teams configuration testing (SIT E2E and Regression Testing) and data migration specialists to ensure seamless integrations and data accuracy.

Testing & Training: Provide comprehensive training to key SME Role based Training Scenario based Training aligned to UAT and support end users in User Acceptance Testing.

Support & Optimization: Support for Cutover Go-Live Hypercare and Handover to ongoing support.


Key Requirements

Experience:

Overall 8 years of hands-on functional consulting experience in Microsoft D365 F&O.

Project Lifecycle: Demonstrated involvement in at least 3-4 full life cycle D365 F&O implementation projects.

Functional Knowledge: Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes across multiple industries preferably in Manufacturing (Process and Discrete)

Tools: Strong proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics Lifecycle Services (LCS) Microsoft Power BI Power Platform and Power apps.

Integrations: Exposure to ISV integration ((e.g. treasury tax trade compliance Docentric EDI)

Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical problem-solving and client-facing communication skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors degree in supply chain management Business Administration Information Technology or a related discipline.

Certifications: Active Microsoft certification in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (e.g. Exam MB-335).
