Job Summary

Role: Android Automotive BSP expert (2-Wheeler Platform)

Location: Chennai

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience : 3 -6 years

Requirements

Core responsibilities:

Bring up Android devices to boot in new hardware.

Working experience in Qualcomm processors is an added advantage.

Designing and maintaining low-level drivers for hardware components such as Display Audio Touch Wi-Fi and Camera.

Upgrading existing hardware platforms to newer versions of Android and the Linux kernel.

Required Technical Skills:

Programming Languages: Mastery of C C and Embedded C for low-level development.

OS Internals: Deep knowledge of the Linux Kernel (subsystems schedulers interrupts) and AOSP architecture.

Hardware Knowledge: Ability to read electrical schematics and work with communication protocols like I2C SPI UART GPIO and CAN.

Build Tools: Proficiency with tools like Git Gerrit Repo Make and Bazel. Debugging Tools: Hands-on experience with hardware/software debugging using GDB strace JTAG ADB and Logic Analyzers.

Required Skills:

Technical SkillExperience in designing Java applications. Strong experience in creating front-end layers of software in Java technology: Java Spring boot Hibernate Spring - Expert understanding in SOA ESB Messaging Event Processing technologies - Experience with relational and non-relational dbs like SQL Server My SQL Casandra or Mongo Redis/mem-cached for implementing caching solutions - Experience in AGILE (SCRUM) methodology and ability to define product life cycle - Strong foundation knowledge around integration technologies such as MuleSoft Apache Storm Kafka etc. - Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences Secondary Skills: ----- Need to work closely with Business and Technical Stakeholders to understand the functional and non-functional requirements.
