Position Title: Associate QA Engineer

Location: Chennai
Reporting To: Engineering Manager

Department: Software Development Centre Engineering

Objective:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer with 1 years of experience in software quality assurance. The ideal candidate should
possess strong manual testing skills and have a solid understanding of end-user applications and customer-facing products similar to platforms
such as e-commerce or local search applications. Exposure to test automation using Selenium will be considered a significant advantage.
Accountability:
Perform comprehensive manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure product quality and usability.
Design execute and maintain test cases test scenarios and test plans based on business requirements.
Identify document track and verify defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
Validate new features bug fixes and regression testing before production releases.
Collaborate closely with developers product managers and business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure complete test
coverage.
Verify APIs UI workflows and end-to-end user journeys across different environments.
Participate in sprint planning requirement reviews and release validation activities.
Ensure a seamless user experience by testing applications from an end-user perspective.
Competencies:
Strong understanding of SDLC STLC defect lifecycle and QA best practices.
Experience testing customer-facing web or mobile applications with a focus on usability and functionality.
Ability to create clear and comprehensive bug reports and test documentation.
Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman is an added advantage.
Good analytical communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in an Agile development environment.
Hands-on experience with Selenium for test automation is highly desirable.
Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation.
Experience with issue-tracking and test management tools such as Jira.

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines or automation frameworks is a plus.
Experience:
1 3 year of experience in Manual Testing.
Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or related field
