Assistant Professor (Bakery & Confectionery)
Job Summary
Roles & Responsibilities:
Deliver hands-on training in Bakery & Confectionery (icing sponge chocolate work fondants pastries tarts pies breads).
Plan and prepare theory and practical sessions in advance with structured lesson plans.
Use multimedia and modern digital teaching tools to enhance learning experience.
Prepare lecture schedules assignments tests demonstrations and presentations in advance.
Oversee or support food-related operations for educational events (preferred) ensuring quality standards and smooth execution.
Supervise student projects and provide continuous academic feedback.
Evaluate student performance and maintain a supportive positive classroom environment.
Transfer theoretical knowledge practical skills techniques and industry methods effectively.
Guide students as a tutor offering academic and career counseling.
Participate in college fairs and institutional events.
Engage in research activities and publish academic papers.
Present at national and international conferences.
Requirements:
Hands-on industry experience in Bakery & Confectionery is mandatory.
Minimum 2-5 years of teaching experience. Industry experience would be an asset.
Qualification :
Preferred Master Degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration/ Travel and Tourism. Undergraduates in Hospitality Management may also be considered.
Required Skills:

Required Education:
First class Masters Degree in Entrepreneurship or in relevant discipline OR Minimum 55% Marks at Masters Degree in MBA (Finance/ International Business)
