Support Engineer – Integrated Facility Engineering (Ref. 260000FG)

Responsibilities

• Oversee Environmental Control System design for operating railway projects
• Coordinate E&M design conduct design review investigate incidents and provide technical support to Maintainers and Operators related to ECS design
• Prepare design drawings specifications design calculations cost estimations statutory submissions as well as carry out design check / verification for project works of the operating railway
• Render technical support for asset renewal / maintenance conduct technical studies investigations and audits prepare incident reports and review standards to ensure smooth operations of building services system
• Liaise and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including consultants contractors and government departments for the design statutory submission and project documentation while reviewing legislation and international standards to recommend improvements and changes on system standards and performance
• Review system / equipment performance and recommend improvement with regard to safety reliability maintainability and future expansions

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical / Building Services Engineering or a related discipline
• A minimum of 3 years relevant design experience preferably gained in a railway environment
• Self-motivated able to work independently with sound analytical mindset as well as good interpersonal and communication skills
• Well versed with MS Office AutoCAD MicroStation and Adobe Photoshop
• Capable to read and understand shop drawings submission
• Knowledge in BIM Sketchup or other 3D modelling software is preferred
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese

Remarks

• Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms
