Job Summary
My client a leading financial services provider is seeking a Vice President Software Developer to drive innovations in their equity derivatives pricing platform.
What youll do
- Design and build robust software solutions enhancing the pre-trade and post-trade pricing functionalities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers designers and other engineers to streamline processes.
- Conduct code reviews and uphold a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and contribute to the organizations technical communities.
- Implement secure coding practices and maintain optimal performance across all software solutions.
The experience and skills needed
- Degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in Java and hands-on experience in multithreaded programming.
- Familiarity with Linux and distributed file systems.
- Knowledge of equity derivatives particularly in pricing and risk management.
