Head of Business Banking Credit

Our client is a leading bank in Asia who is looking for a Reporting Assistant Manager to join their firm:

• Review & approve credit applications for commercial real estate loans, overdraft, trade facilities, unsecured term loans, vehicle or machinery loans, mortgage loans, credit cards (as applicable) and other financial products in accordance with credit discretionary limits (CDL) and established credit policies;
• Maintain BB Credits Service Level Agreements;
• Provide guidance and feedback on credit issue, credit parameters for various Business Banking product offerings;
• Consult and provide comments on credit issues and credit limitations for a variety of Business Banking product offerings;
• Manage the Business Banking Credit team and giving Credit Approver/Credit Analysts with training.
• Oversee the development of a BBC dashboard to track and monitor the performance of BB Credit.
• Evaluate credit policies (Country Lending Program, SOP, Product Team programs, portfolio campaign) and offering feedback to program/policy owners.
• Put credit-related projects in place with the goal of increasing efficiency and portfolio quality.
• Provide the CA/CAT scoring computation.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or higher in Banking/Finance or related majors.
• At least 10+ years of working experience in credit.
• Background in the banking or finance industry in the SME Financing Segment is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A team player who can manage efficiently in a changing environment.
• Good command of English.
