- Conducts research on emerging security threats; Provides correlation and trending of cyber incident activity.
- Maintain expert knowledge of advanced persistent threats tools, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) as well as forensics and incident response practices.
- Maintains Situational Awareness and reports on advanced threats, including Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) and incidents.
- Identify and hunt for emerging threat activity across all internal/external sources.
- Collaborates with architects, engineers, developers, and other business unit personnel to identify and remediate weaknesses in security posture.
- Establish a threat hunting and modeling methodology to identify, classify, prioritize and report on cyber threats using a structured approach.
- Conduct digital forensics investigations for enterprise security incidents, E-Discovery legal matters, attacks/intrusions, policy violations, and insider threats investigations as well as incident management.
- Responsible for executing processes within all activities within the security Incident response lifecycle. These activities include detection, triage, analysis, containment, recovery, and reporting.
- Coordinate response, triage, and recovery activities for security events.
- Develops a portfolio of historical threat activity, trends, and common attack vectors to predict future incidents.
- Provide awareness to internal teams and leadership on changes to the cyber threat landscape.
- Publish internal threat intelligence briefings to provide actionable information for tactical and strategic responses for emerging threats.
